We are delighted to announce that following successful funding applications to the Anguish’s Educational Foundation and the Norwich Freemen’s Charity, we are launching an exciting new project that seeks to boost curiosity in Primary schools through science!

Back in 2015, we ran SAW training workshops for teachers in Shanghai. When we returned 2 years later, with support from the Xuhui education bureau, they had developed a very successful framework that enabled in school teams of teachers to design and run SAW projects to teach across the curriculum. They have continued to grow the programme and won awards for their projects. The positive impacts on boosting children’s creativity has been outstanding.
We wanted to try the same thing back in Norfolk!

In this new ‘Curiosity Project’ we are looking for 3 primary schools who are keen to work with us to develop a framework that enables science to be explored across the curriculum. We want to boost opportunities for child-led questioning to shape learning that requires them to work scientifically and develops resourcefulness, problem solving skills and nurtures their intellectual curiosity.
