Workshops for educators

During an INSET day workshop, you will experience the SAW process, try out science, art and writing activities and learn how to design and run your own ‘in-house’ projects in school.

These sessions are open to staff and TAs teaching at all key stages. All materials for the day are provided including SAW lesson plans for future use. We offer similar workshops for trainee teachers as part of a PGCE course and are happy to tailor our offering to suit the key stages that trainees are hoping to work with and so we ask University course directors to get in touch to find out more.

We also have short CPD training workshops we can offer as part of larger educator events and conferences. Contact us for more information about our training workshops and fees or to discuss booking one for your organisation.

"The SAW CPD day for staff was just what we needed after a term of teaching in lockdown. It was an inspiring session that really revitalised our love of teaching and learning. As a school we are very creative in our approach and try to feed the children’s natural curiosity and the SAW project does that really well. We enjoyed the hands on sessions from each subject area and it was great to be given practical activities and ideas to take away to try.
